ABOUT AISH

A warm, collaborative space for meaningful change

Hi, I’m Aish, a Senior Psychologist at Reimagine Psychology Melbourne. I have five years of experience working with people from diverse backgrounds across a range of mental health concerns.

I have a particular interest in working with trauma-related concerns and personality disorders. I also co-facilitated a DBT group at Headspace Knox for two years and was part of the DBT treatment team there for three years.

I aim to provide a warm, non-judgmental space and place a strong value on collaboration, because I believe you are the expert in your own life. I also believe therapy can provide a corrective emotional experience through open, respectful and non-judgmental feedback.

My background and beliefs

I moved to Australia from India six years ago and have first-hand experience of living between two different cultural spaces. This has shaped how I understand identity, belonging and the way culture can influence a person’s experience.

I believe acceptance and change go hand in hand, and that both are important in building a life that feels worth living. I see my role as bearing witness to your experiences while supporting you to stay present, recognise your capacity for change and work towards a life that feels meaningful to you.
